What it usually costs

$18,000–$35,000

Typical Connecticut rooftop array before incentives, 2026 planning range. Size, roof work, electrical service, and a battery move it. The visit locks the number.

What the job includes

The roof decides the array.

If the shingles have less than about fifteen years left, we replace them before or with the panels. Putting an array on a roof that will need tear-off in five years is how you pay twice. We put that on the proposal, not after the racking is in.

Designed for this house.

Pitch, shade, electrical service, and how you actually use power in winter. We size the array to the roof that's there. Incentives are shown next to the cash number so you can compare — they're not a reason to skip the inspection.

Same crew that already knows the attic.

Flashings, penetrations, and the path to the panel are as much the job as the modules. We don't hand the roof off. If you also need heating and air, that's the same company too.
