What it usually costs
$12,000–$40,000
Full-home range for vinyl through fiber cement on a typical Connecticut house. Number of walls, wrap, and trim drive it. Quoted after we see the walls.
What the job includes
We start with what's behind it.
Wrap, flashing, and any rot at the sills and band boards. That's the part you can't see from the street, and it decides whether new siding lasts. Colors, exposures, and trim get sampled on the house — not from a chip in the office.
Fiber cement, vinyl, or wood.
Fiber cement when you want a painted look and a fire rating. Vinyl when you want a clean finish without a paint cycle. Wood when the house was built for it and you'll maintain it. We'll tell you which we'd put on our own house in your situation, and why.
Do the roof at the same time if both are due.
Scaffolding twice is how jobs get expensive and yards stay torn up. If the roof and siding are both due, we sequence them as one job: roof first, walls second, one dumpster, one schedule.
